This self capture rocked me and put me in a bit of slump and slowed my drive down a bit. I’ve been frustrated with my camera (I miss my old one), was in my Luteal phase and twas during the arrival of the lunar eclipse. Yes, tears were present during the shoot lol.
I’ve since realised I was taking this challenge way too seriously and letting the little details frustrate me. I started this in the name of play and trust so choosing to go that route from now on.
Here is the ‘Shield Maiden’; a Viking Warrioress (Lagertha).
I chose her because this particular archetype keeps coming through for me, I have been working with her closely since September last year. Aside from bravery and battleship, she represents making plans and focusing. I have been doing a lot of this as of late and have been experiencing the drive of pushing through and taking one step at a time. I’ve also realised how what keeps me back from doing what I need to do has a lot to with not planning properly haha, so engaging with planning and focusing has been blowing my mind and giving me strength.
This rocky shoot process also showed me how being seen in my playful and bold way can be hectic for me! Yoh! In Astrology I can see this represented in my Lilith in Leo. It dawned on me that I’m learning how to express myself unapologetically so that I can hopefully help others to the same. To bring liberation to our authentic light.
