Pisces. The dreamer. The last sign of the zodiac. Endings, the subconscious, the spiritual realm… magic and alchemy… oracular region, the artist.
So far every person I’ve ever lost to the spiritual realm has left in Pisces season. My father, my cousin, my childhood friend (he left today 6 years ago actually)…also a brief friend of mine. I don’t say this to scare you into thinking you’ll lose someone this Pisces season! Please remember we each have our own timeline. I’m just sharing my experience and I’ve noticed this theme for me on my own journey. So when this time of year comes around submerging into the watery realms is an interesting navigation for me... I miss them all so much and think of them often, I see them in nature and hear them in songs. This post holds tribute to them and their watery ways, their life on earth.
Pisces is opposite Virgo in the Astrological chart so they have a direct connection. Pisces is the dreamer and Virgo the practical one / reality. So when this new moon in Pisces arose on Sunday and Monday it might have had you noticing whether you needed to engage with practicalities more or step away from them… maybe you’ve been dreaming too much and needed to ground down into reality or maybe you’ve been caught in the details and needed to zoom out into the watery creative dreamer world, your emotions, your artistry, it’s a tricky balance to navigate. We need both the dream and the reality to dance together.
I was chatting with some of my sisters today and we were talking about how some of us are feeling indecisive, struggling to make decisions at the moment. I remembered that Pisces season brings culmination, a closing to old cycles so we can begin anew in Aries season (March 21st). So if you’re feeling indecisive it may be because you need to close up loose ends before you can step into the new cycle…trust your process…

Rachel
